Cottage Pie wrapped in pastry
Our homemade cottage pie brings together the best of classic comfort and golden pastry.
We start with a rich, slow-simmered beef filling cooked with hearty vegetables and fragrant herbs in a deeply savoury gravy. The filling is layered into a crisp, buttery pastry shell that adds the perfect delicate crunch to every bite.
Topped with creamy, fluffy mashed potatoes whipped until smooth and lightly baked to a beautiful golden finish, this cottage pie is hearty, satisfying, and full of flavour.

To warm up a large pie, place it in a preheated oven (170°C or gas mark 4) for 20-25 minutes.
To this day all the pies are still handmade on the original premises in Shelf, Halifax, West Yorkshire and use the finest ingredients.
