Our homemade Fidget Pie is a true British classic, built in hearty layers for the perfect balance of flavour. We start with a base of sweet, tender apples, followed by a generous layer of savoury bacon, then finish with a comforting topping of sliced potatoes.
Everything is carefully seasoned and baked inside a golden crust, allowing the rich, savoury and subtly sweet flavours to come together perfectly.
Rustic, filling, and full of traditional character, it’s the kind of pie that brings real comfort with every bite.

A little about Pies…
Meat pie originated during the Neolithic period, around 9500 BC. The ancient Egyptians’ diet featured basic pies made from oat, wheat, rye, and barley, filled with honey and baked over hot coals. The Greeks used a flour-water paste resembling pie pastry, and filled it with meat.[3] These pies were usually fried or cooked under coals.
